QUALIFICATIONS

As a highly conscientious and dedicated educator who, through 25 years of business experience and 22 years of teaching at the post-secondary level, Dr. Codde has built a reputation for excellence and an in-depth knowledge of teaching and learning particularly in the field of teacher education. He has developed and manages a graduate educational technology certificate program, a technology masters degree program, and an institute on teaching and learning using the world wide web. In addition he has developed training programs for education, business and industry, government, and nonprofit associations.

As a professor at a major big ten university, Dr. Codde directs education projects in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. These international projects include programs in Algeria, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. He has experience with educational reform, teacher professional development, and ICT integration.

Additionally, Dr. Codde is a member of the Univeristy's Muslim Studies faculty as well as the African Studies faculty. He is a member of the International Society of Technology in Education's (ISTE) international committee and represents ISTE as an ISTE Ambassador. He also serves as a senior reviewer for the State of Michigan serving on the Department of Education's committee reviewing university teacher endorsement programs in educational technology (ICT).
